As someone who started reading mangas from a very young age, I gotta say that I didn't even start reading full blown yaoi. I started with shoujo manga. Even in those mangas, especially the older ones, there are so many problematic tropes. It was actually comments in manga sites that made me realize how problematic and toxic some stuff I read were. ...... 1 reply
