im not religious but, i wish the next pope replacing him is also progressive and open minded as him. Mind you he's a huge religious leader, yet he encourages people to be open towards lgbtq+ and same sex marriage like bro? hes a good pope actually. Why cant many religious leaders be like him.
Hey, as someone who was raised Catholic in a predominantly Catholic country: Francisco wasn't progressive. He did good things, sure, but he also said being a homosexual was sin, he spoke against trans people in many occasions, he denounced couples who were child free and he even used a homophobic slur as recently as 2024.
