Can someone give me advice, please?

Basically I logged into my Instagram account for the first time in over a year yesterday, so I went through my notifs and added some people back and stuff. Almost a few minutes later I get a chat from this person I added back and he said hey and complimented my art so obviously I responded and we had maybe an hour long convo over text.

He apparently lives in my town but goes to the private school another town over so I don’t actually know him, and the convo was going cool basically just talking about animes we’ve watched, until he started some sexual jokes that he would then delete almost immediately? Then he started saying like “I hope you don’t ghost me” and talking about us as if we were already best friends.

Then this morning I woke up to a gm message and responded, then at school my phone doesn’t really send messages cause the WiFi is buns so I couldn’t respond and the whole day was a bunch of texts like “oh you’re ghosting me already? Damn” and both my insta and messages were spammed. when I got out of school I was like wtff but replied just explained i literally couldn’t have responded even if i wanted to and that I just got out of school.

Then after I got home I was like “dude sorry I need to clean my room and shit” partly cause had to and partly cause I was feeling really pressured to constantly respond. He kept asking for a pic to see my face even though I did the other night and then kept trying to call me when I said I can’t ft when I’m trying to get something done then 2 hours later I checked my phone and he was already going on another speech about being ghosted was asking questions like “oh I get it, you’re studying right” ?????? … has he considered I’m not on my phone 24/7?? Not responding for a few hours after saying I’m busy is not what ghosting means!!

He’s still going and I’m really just want to block him cause I feel sooooo creeped out for some reason I would feel bad ab it though because I kinda was talking to him but it’s literally been less then a day since I’ve first met this dude…

I don’t wanna ask my friends for advice because there’s a chance they know him and that would be awkward. There’s also the chance of seeing him again since we literally live in the same town.

I could maybe message him and say that I’m kind of uncomfortable with how he’s acting with me but I’m not sure how he’d react and honestly I don’t think he would change and I just genuinely don’t wanna associate with this kind of person

Should I just block?? I’m scared to look at my notifications honestly
