Do you believe in separating art from artist?
for example, melanie (yes i know its old) i love her songs so much, its so nostalgic, but saying that in public/social media would make you the most hated person in the room. tbh i have been avoiding her entire SA case ,willingly want to stay ignorant, because knowing the truth or the full of it, would ruin these songs which i loved so much when i was a teenager.
I personally do. If we look back in history some of the best artist/composers/writers (beethtoven for example who was in love with his 14 year old student and got upset when she declined his advances so he wrote an easy song for her to learn then made the ending too diffcult for her to ever finish it) were not the best people from the current socie...... reply
