No cus like I just want this cus im so bothered with the way ppl pronounce it cus wtf is yowee when it's yahwi it was a slur in 2021-22 for some reason.
Yaoi is an outdated term that isn't actually used outside of western illegal spaces
You won't see any BL referred to as yaoi in any official sites and magazines
In general "yaoi" originally was used to refer to gay doujinshi that fit the western fanfic definition of "pwp" (plot what plot) aka plotless smut
