ibis paint free version (i aint paying to draw bruh) and on my phone. i have a samsung note tho so the pen comes in handy. but those cheap stylus pens will do just fine too. and honestly you dont need nothing fancy to create good digital art. it's about technique. oh and you can do simple animations on ibis too. probably a good way to get started o...... reply

Use an ipad (I forget what generation, maybe 6th??)…it was like barely 100 bucks. It works rlly well though, had it for a while now too. You don't need the best ipad, just get a second-hand one (it's cheaper) that's in good condition and you'll be good!! I use procreate its not free but its also not expensive at all!! No ads and no subscription, ...... reply

A little story time, I used to trace before and I'm so embarrassed to share my art because I didn't really made it, I just traced it but then I focus on what I'm good at (which is the eyes) and I look up for references.
