Y'all I got confessed what should I do-
I got to know this for like 2 half years. He's a good guy but all his exes are red flags like huge red flags. When we were still friends I got a bf but we broke up after 8 months cause for some reason dating made feel like I lost basic human rights. That guy was insecure asf and I had to text him constantly every day and it lowkey pissed me off cause he'd act all shy and shit but when texting he would suddenly transform into shakespeare. But this guy and me started off as friends he's nice. I do like him but I also don't wanna date him. I can't keep a relationship cause I'm a very avoidant person. I'll talk all day long if we are face 2 face but I don't like texting or calling. Idk what I should do cause we have the same friend circle too and things are gonna be awkward since I haven't replied to his confession.
definitely js tell him what you've just said here, especially the "I do like him but I also don't wanna date him". It's good you were able to word it all here, that'll help a lot as a sort of note to check back on when you talk about it. I think you should do what feels right to you. If you don't want to date him and want to stay friends ig tell him that. If you think that you will regret turning him down and are willing to try dating but not being keen on calling/texting is the thing stopping you, you should discuss and see if it will be a dealbreaker (i dunno if video calls would...... 1 reply
