Can i assume this man likes me...

There's a guy in my class I'm really close to. He's beloved by everyone, he's also those big nerds whom accomplished ALOT. We're lowkey the same so we're bffs. I noticed he's being more clingy lately and he told me has never dated a woman in his life He told me he rejects all girls, I'm like okay why u mentioning that to me.

Then whenever I would talk abt my gf with him, he'd have this annoyed face lol. When I talk abt other things he's just staring normal. He also stares at me so much during class... Like also during eating. Whenever I would eat he would want to go with me even though his other friends invite him. I often eat alone so I don't understand why he prefers me over his friends. Then bro stays in my office alot like bitch go ur office

Another thing is he's been complimenting me alot, "your fit goes hard" and "you're really glowing lately." and when we swam for P. E he complimented my muscles like STOP IT!! We're both men smh why u saying it to me so much like tbh girls do it cus they're nice but a guy wouldn't do this usually cus they think it makes them gay. He fully knows I'm bi btw I told him one time to not flirt UNLESS he means it.

Is this just a nice guy or there's something going on...
