What's something dumb someone said to you?
I think about this often because it left me speechless. My coworker said, "Women were never suppressed by men." When I pointed out moments in history where women were indeed surpressed by men he said, "Were you there? No. History is bullshit created by the winning party." I couldn't even argue back I was so stunned.
When I was a child I remember folding clothes in the dark with only the light on in the hallway, one of my family members came in and asked why, I said that the light was giving me a headache, they said that was the dumbest thing they ever heard and cut it back on.
