Help out a degenerate pls..

Okay so this is kinda like an update w the guy that confessed me.

He said he wants to have a talk and meet I think- and I'm busy with studies and work and all. The feelings are somewhat mutual. He's a nice guy- like someone I'd date for a long term but the thing is I really don't wanna be in a relationship. He said he'd be fine with waiting after I basically said something along the lines of "the feelings mutual but I'm not up for dating". But the thing is I genuinely can't keep up a conversation with ppl online also I'm preparing to study abroad which means even if we end up dating it'd be a long distance with an unusual time difference. I'm no fan of long distance. So like can y'all review my reply and make it sound like I'm not inconsiderate of his feelings?? (I didn't reply to his reels or texts for 2 days and more... I SWEAR I WAS BUSY W STUDIES AND I HAD A FIGHT W MY MOM.)

Reply: yeah hey- things haven't been smooth sailing on my side. I hope we can converse the things we want on text since I got a busy schedule and I can't meet you face to face. I don't want to lead you on I appreciate the fact that you're honest about your feelings and that you're willing to wait but I really am not interested in dating. I genuinely can't keep up with dating. I really can't keep up with texts let alone dates. I really don't wanna hurt you nor our relationship in the long run. So, if you find a girl you like in the future, you should move on. I don't know when I'll be able to improve myself. So yeahh I really don't hope it doesn't leave a bad taste in our friendship.
