I saw a debate on whether or not people should drop manga, specifically BL, after a certain age due to it being "childish" and "creepy". Alot said yes and that the limit should be between 40 to 60 years old.
Personally, I think age should only play a factor to determine whether or not you should still be reading BL in a high-school setting (especially if it's YAOI) but overall I think it's fine to read it at any old age as long as it isn't something illegal and it isn't hurting anyone.
I'd like to see your guys opinions on this though.
the age don't matter (unless you're a minor reading mature content that's concerning), what's matter is to acting not creepy about the said genre. reply

None of us exist to meet the rigid and/or judgmental standards of strangers we’ll never know, be impacted by, or care too deeply about.

thats the same as saying an adult can't like plushies at 50 or little trinkets or their favourite character can be from a favourite franchise from their childhood anyone saying niggas who mind their business and enjoy their hobbies are creepy and childish for doing that are weird it's none of their business what ppl choose to enjoy reply

That is such bullshit! I hate it when people say this crap, people can be any age and read manga and same with watching anime. Heck, someone can be 60 something years old and still read manga. There shouldn’t be a damn age limit to drop manga, that’s pathetic, and whoever thinks that should piss off! Why do those kin...... reply
I’d be surprised if there was anyone on this site 50+ years old but yeah it really shouldn’t matter as long as you aren’t reading anything nefarious or whatever 2 reply
