Honestly, might be because of fake hope updates.
Like Yes we're really grateful that we're able to read official translation without paying for it but giving a false update is really heartbreaking. :(

The only time I get annoyed with notifications is when something that hasn’t updated in a while gives me a notification just to have absolutely nothing be there. Like bro, who did that and why??!?
I was so excited for .069 seconds and now the next 3.14 seconds of my life are disappointing.
