Opinion on top x bottom ship naming in yaoi
Yknow how all the ships are named as in top name first then bottom name jumbled? When I told my non-yaoi reader about this naming structure she was like “that’s so wrong wtf” she implied that the ship name should be jumbled in a way that just sounds nice, not necessary always top x bottom. I don’t have any critical thinking skills unlike my sis so I’m curious what yall think.
The reason why Asians artists/fans emphasised on the ship names is to make it easier to filter out shippers that make the reversed version AND to avoid seeing a pairing they dont wanna see....
