Why do people lie to each other like you can just tell the truth this way or another they will find out you are lying, and imagine you are the person who is being lied to, I understand if it's a birthday surprise or a gift, but to lie about opinions if people dissagree on many issues leading to lies why stay in such a relationship based on lies? I am curious about your opinions on lies, sometimes I catch myself lying people just to watch their reactions, whether they believe in them or not It is not like big and moments later I tell the truth but why do I do it ? I know what you mean and its really unfortunate that society now operates that way.
Now Im not sure if it's only been this way because of recent years or been a thing since the past, but people cannot handle opposing viewpoints to theirs. People feel threatened and almost need to be validated that they are correct and true because its a stab at t...... reply
I think how you were brought up plays a part in this. Some parents accidentally teach their children that lying is preferable because telling the truth just gets them punished or yelled at. But I also think it's normal to lie as adults when to truth is embarrassing, crosses the line into over-sharing or to avoid arguments that won't lead anywhere....... 1 reply
Lowk i lie sometimes accidentaly, like im saying something and it comes out before my brain even finishes the sentence? And then right after im like "actually thats not true why did i say that
