I much prefer action without romance. Especially when it's out of nowhere. I can accept it if it's a side-plot and not too cliche to the point it gets on my nerves. reply

Im gonna sound pretty stupid since its a shoujo, but I think Yona of the Dawn's anime (after the initial ep) does a okay job with it. Like if two characters have been introduced as either liking each other or just having a close bond that allows them to act vulnerable with eachother

Look, I'm a very tolerant woman. I can enjoy an action manhwa with romance. I can even tolerate it if she has that copy-paste blushing maiden personality they all seem to have. i'm biased here an aro ace person, but i strongly dislike romance unless its a C or D plot (super duper minor in the story). i just find it incredibly boring.

absolutely hate, absolutely despise. I dropped every single action manhwa that has the slightest hints of romance, even if it's a subplot, DEMOLISHED. I cry every day about sss class suicide hunter. If you catch me on a good day maybe I'll let it slide.. there are of course very few exceptions, but that's not the case most of time, so it's been bla...... reply
Tbh I don't usually mind that much. I might find it annoying but it's rarely enough to get me to drop a story. Tho I might not start one if I hear there's a random romance later on, but if I'm already invested in it and romance happens to show up then I'll usually keep going.
