Tbh I don't usually mind that much. I might find it annoying but it's rarely enough to get me to drop a story. Tho I might not start one if I hear there's a random romance later on, but if I'm already invested in it and romance happens to show up then I'll usually keep going.
I do get significantly more annoyed by romance randomly showing up in ac...... reply
