Did I stan the wrong person....
I just found out my first K-pop bias, the one who introduced me to the genre and meant so much to me, became an ambassador for Coca-Cola—a company known to support Is***l. It’s making me pause and think: is he unaware of the issue, or does he not see a problem with the association?
If sm's done sth weird irl u wouldn't be friends them with them anymore would u or at least associate with them less, same with celebs, stop deeping it so much bc at the end of the day there's only so much u can theorise about an idol u don't actually know reply
We have to recognize that idols are still individuals making career-driven decisions. At the end of the day, endorsements are often about profit, not personal ideology. Where kiof were dragged for culture appropriation v gets away with saying n word twice ( he also did that scarf thing bandana ?? which pretty much is culture appropriation) ?...... reply
Man I don’t really care about celebs/k-pop anymore but coming from someone who has lived in south korea, people there (not generalizing) really have no strong opinions with regards to international issues. Though I can’t speak for the idol themselves (i don’t even know who), there are tons of celebs and well-known people collabing with Americ...... reply
If you're stanning someone then don't get too attached cause you don't know them personally so when they do something u don't like you get offended by it. HONESTLY they do everything for fame and money so I'm not surprised and you shouldn't too if it's offended you stop supporting or atleast stop being a blind follower everything you see is just fi...... reply
