I just found out my first K-pop bias, the one who introduced me to the genre and meant so much to me, became an ambassador for Coca-Cola—a company known to support Is***l. It’s making me pause and think: is he unaware of the issue, or does he not see a problem with the association?
That’s totally dependent on you. Many people support companies knowingly and unknowingly. To say that you made a mistake supporting someone because of the beliefs of that persons employer is a bit weird as they don’t get a say in that company’s decisions. So totally up to you but still a weird thing to hold against them. reply
