Japanese Friend
I don't know if this is normal or just a cultural difference between us but my I feel like my Japanese friend is a bit posseive/extremely clingy, like, they basically want us to do everything together and talk to each other the whole day (and I mean the WHOLE day. When eating, they update me, when they're about to work out they update me, when they're about to take a walk they update me etc. like I'm getting a narrative of every second they move yk? ). I don't mind because I do like talking to them and I've also been on the other side of this line myself so I get it, you're excited and feel inclined to be with them all the fine when you have a friend you really really reallyyy like and are on sync with but like idk. I just wanted to ask so I can adjust my expectations accordingly because I've heard that most JP people are possesive partners (we're not romantic partners but that was the only reference I could find off of Google)
i don't think we should generalize based on ethnicity on this. i think this is just their personality. so i guess adjust your expectations based on your experience with them so far??? as you would with your other friends??? idk man, but like some people like to over share and feel comfortable doing it while others don't. reply

I agree w the ppl that are saying that we shouldn't generalize base on ethnicity, but at the same time...
As a chinese person that lives in the other side of the world I kinda know what you mean, not necessarily w japanese ppl though
