weird age gaps
does anyone else find it weird when a second male lead is introduced, but he met the mc when the mc was in highschool… like idk if i’m too sensitive or something but i cant fathom that kind of relationship, like if i met some adult 7-8 years older than me and they started pursuing me after i graduated i think i’d be creeped out…
it’s such a common “trope” these days that it’s making me question whether i’m sensitive to that stuff or it’s just flat out weird.. like i don’t wanna say it’s the same thing as a teacher and student relationship (that involves power dynamics and probs grooming), but i just find it weird how unc over here wants to get with the kid he helped raise for like a year or two when the kid was in high school
there was this manhua with a really good artstyle, it was romance, people kept saying it was good but it was weird for me because the leads met when fmc was only in hs while ml was already in college or something... and they get together like when fmc became legal(? i think?) i didnt really read it cuz it was such a weird agh 2 reply
