can we talk about this shounen ai manga called shota oni? i know many read it purely for the wholesomeness of the series, but the fact that the genre is "shounen ai" means that both characters are paired as love interests ARE YALL NOT CREEPED OUT ABOUT THAT AND HOW COME SO MANY PEOPLE ARE DEFENDING THAT MANGA PLS WAKE UP WAKEUPPP
i mean if it's not supposed to be romantic why not just put the manga in the slice of life genre just like many other wholesome mangas out there the fact that it's shounen ai SHOUNEN AI and the other mc is a kid
When i first read this, new to the yaoi world and overall manga when I wasn't aware of the "shota" term yet cus im a kid myself. I thought they were doing those age gap series like oh this boy has a crush on him, I guess we'll get a time skip to him being an adult and courting his crush since I thought the age gap between them was only like 4-5 and...... reply
