I looove visual novels, dating sims also but I'm not really a completionists. I get the good ending for my favorite 1 or 2 characters and that's it. I like when MC has personality, a past goals and intrests, even if they're very different from mine. I think it's more intresting than playing a blank slate. Also, when choices are actually choices
