noises and courtesy
i live with my fam and my sibling recently got a significant other. At night and mornings, I can hear *ehem* clear vocals (if u know what i mean) coming from my sibling's room, and its typically only their significant other that i hear. it was insanely loud before so i confronted my sibling and they apologized and said they'd talk to their s.o. . The noises did quiet down but i still hear them, so i brought it up again only to be told to wear headphones or listen to music. i was upset cause its our family house and this has never happened before with my sibling's past relationships. What are ygs thoughts and opinions? Is there someone in the wrong? Am i just being too sensitive?
Who would want to hear their sibling having sex, you're not sensitive at all!!!
First, it's not even their house, if the noise is annoying someone or it's obstructing someone's sleep(I assume, since u mentioned hearing the noises at night/morning), then you have all the right in the world to say something about it, since u live there too

Get them a gag as a gift
Ok serious answer: it depends on how loud it is. If it's not really louder than people talking at regular volume than yeah unfortunately probably earplugs or headphones are your only choice. If it's still a lot louder than that then yeah I would say you're justified in asking them to quiet down more.
