What’s a BL trope that you’re sick and tired of?
I’ll start— I’ve grown to despise the “I’m only gay for you/ I don’t like men, i like you because you’re you” type of MC/ML. It’s not romantic, it’s annoying, and honestly homophobic, if the ‘straightness’ is the main charm point of your BL character. Those writers try to make you think that this means a man only fell in love because of the other dude’s personality but then you got them sticking balls-deep in butts and suckling on balls. It’s 2025, stop making BL main characters straight ffs, they gotta be at least bisexual. Is it that hard to accept that being turned on by a man’s body means they’re not straight as the fucking pole like the illustrated dicks they choke on.
When the ML is very mean to MC to the point of violence for no reason and MC here still keeps staying close to him bc of "he didnt really mean anything he did" or something. Like. Bitcb leave that mutherfuhker for gods sake-- im pulling my hair here---
