How do yall say or show you love a friend (platonically) cuz just saying I love you is just weird... well to me because honestly the only person I will say that to is my mom.. anyway back to the discussion, like how without making it weird??
Because for me I'll send them a scenario, on how important they are to me, like example, if we were got apart far away from each other like pluto getting away from the solar system, I will wait for you even if it takes a million or billion years. even if you returned as asteroids i will still gladly take you even if it takes my life away. (If that even make sense)
Saying ‘I love you’ isn’t weird though? But it might be too heavy for your friendship if you’re not at that level yet.
But like you can always say things like ‘I’m so glad I met you’ ‘I’m so lucky to have you in my life/ lucky to have you as a friend’ ‘your so great’ ‘your important to me’.
You can give them complime...... reply
My bestfriend who is in a different uni sent me a reel saying “When your your new friends lowkey don’t like you but you don’t care cause your day 1 bitch at home will love you unconditionally.” and gang it hit home n I cried a little. 1 reply

showing appreciation for things they do is pretty average, like thanking them for calling you out of the blue or supporting you in xyz or making you laugh on a hard day;; but also tons of ppl just say i love you or call them a best friend/sibling reply
1) My love language is physical touch. Which also means that I feel disgusted when I have too much skin contact with someone in not close with. And my friends are highly aware of that. So even a simple hug or hand holding when walking is enough to let them know that they really mean a lot to me.

I have problems wording out my feelings so i usually would send things, like vids or memes that they like to show that i care about them and their interests even though i myself aren't interested in it
For a certain types of friends though like the ones i can be completely honest with i try my best to say thank you for hanging out with me or things...... reply
I don't think it's weird but depends on your friends....if they like it and appreciate it, ni problem at all then....
For me, we just deep talk, throwback and said like i always appreciate you guys that always with me when im happy or sad... cliche but it's work (=・ω・=) reply
