Did yall know that poppy seeds will give a false positive on every type of drug test. The only test that might save you is a hair test, but thats because of a longer time frame in comparison to the other tests. So as long as you don’t eat poppy seeds every day the hair test MIGHT be the footage to prove you innocent. Just needed to let this be known since the people testing you rarely give you the benefit of doubt and inform you of this.
Lol Im in the medical field. And we always get causes like this in the uk. No it will not cause false positive. IT WILL CAUSE AN ACTUAL POSITIVE RESULT XD. Poppy seeds are literally a source for drugs. Opium is made from poppy seeds. That's why you avoid the poppy seed muffins or pastries before any drug test preferably 3 days or a week depending o...... reply

Now, 15-20years ago the tests couldn't differentiate between the OPIATE/OPIOID or food ingredient. So, they have state of the art, whether its a Urinalysis, plasma or follicle tests and it can differentiate the outcome. With a urine test it'll come up POSITIVE for OPIATE...... reply
Not every drug it’s only true for opium, opioids and heroin but yeah lol they just contain trace amounts because they originate from the same plant. it’s such a trace amount but apparently it’s enough to show up in a drug test those things are sensitive af reply
