Do bl writers see cheating as less forgivable than rape?
Just a thought i had, I've noticed that despite bls having literally any and every taboo topics you can think of cheating isn't in that many, I've seen like "mc misunderstands ml hanging out with girl or boy as them having a gf or bf" thing a lot but actual cheating? I've never actually seem a bl with cheating not even in those rape torture filled porn bls and i just started questioning if people are less forgiving of cheating, now do i want to see more cheating in love stories? HELLLLL NOOOO but i don't really wanna see rape either but it's there.
Please tell me if this post makes grammatical sense i am kinda rambling lol
i know some great cheating bls like A Terrible Romance, Retsujo Love Cross, Mr. Kang's Son in Law, and Sweet Heart Trigger off the top of my head;; but honestly i do notice there's not a lot of antagonists who cheat on the mc then become cool with the main couple, as opposed to antagonists who try to rape the mc then become cool with the main coupl...... 1 reply
