BDSM DOES NOT EQUAL TO VIOLENCE
i think (new/unknowledgeable) writers or readers should know this, any forms of BDSM does not mean you hit and cum because it's not. there's some new (alarming) works here that uses SM as cover up for straight violence. i believe BDSM is an art and sometimes it is not even just for sexual pleasure. OG BDSM readers and writers should know.
This is why I can read some crazy/dark stuff as long as it's not tagged BDSM. I feel like if they're gonna market it as such, it has to be proper (like with protocols or limits or aftercare). Otherwise, just tag it as dark romance or something. reply
