As someone who's living basically slightly below the poverty line in my country, the rich × poor dynamic is a form of escapism for me. And I'm very anti - capitalist, pro - socialist... Once in a BL, people protesting against gentrification the rich ML forwarded were shown as irrational and ugly, and I criticized that. But overall, it's satisfying...... 2 reply

I get that some people like it for escapism, but I just can't relate. I just have the urge to contribute or provide in some way.
