What would you do if your friend is... Being suicidal?
My first asking a question here. So, one of my close friends recently has been showing signs of suicidal thoughts.. or just giving up on life. I've been trying to comfort him and being sympathetic with him (genuinely) but it seems like it isn't working. He's the type of person who like, wants to stay on his "Happy-go-lucky" and "therapist" architype, and also a writer. I'm afraid that his own thoughts would do harm on him someday. I'm asking here because no one but me knows about his situation, and this site feels...very secure(?) with identities..

Damn we have the same problem except my friend actually choose to live for now. Comfort and reasons won't work unfortunately, if they set their mind on doing self harm they'll do it. I feel useless on not being able to do anything for my friend since I can't even disagree to the reasons. My advice for you is to just let them know or feel that you a...... reply
