Ghost ships absolutely exist. Let people ship whoever they want. Canon ship is accepted by a majority, so there won't be a question about it. But everytime people ship two characters who have no chance of encounter or end game they get ridiculed hightime. Let them thrive too. Don't start cornering them just because you can't fathom it.
