Okay so, I’ve been on this site for god knows how long. I’ve read tons of manga, manhwa, manhua, and novels — I’m not illiterate. I’ve even published stuff on AO3.
What I don’t get is: why do so many people just forget about the victims of SA in BL and yaoi?
I’ve come across so many works that are cute, fluffy, and funny on the surface. But if you look closely at the details, there’s clear SA in there. And the comment section is just… so forgetting... Like, sure, maybe it’s “needed for the plot,” but is it really necessary?
And when you actually point it out, people start blaming the victim instead. Like… are we even reading the same story??
Everytime I see this types of post in the forums I question if im living in alternative reality or smth
Everyone ive seen has this exact same take when it comes to SA, but every one of this post sound like 100% of users they see are rape lovers
