To the people that have been reading/been apart of a fandom for a long time... Do you think you guys have matured? Like would you say they are certain things you've said in the past about a certain manga/character that you take back now because you realised it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows? Or are you sticking with every single thing you've said since the beginning of your journey with a fandom
If yes...whats that opinion? Like what did you say before that you've matured now and realised you've changed your mind on the topic?

I've realized that a lot are trash and that personally its so much gray and even dark gray areas when it comes to morality/character choices made by main characters. There's a saying that goes "it aged like fine wine" and "it aged like milk".
I think these two idioms explains pretty much how preferences and opinion changes over time. To me at least... For example I was "Team Edward" *cringes* when I was a kid in missile school. That aged like milk gone bad.

Matured and started applying media literacy and critical thinking to everything I read because contrary to popular (shallow) belief, it IS that deep and you absolutely can and should criticize the things you consume
