I live in the Netherlands, and I've never seen anyone get shit for being queer (although of course that doesn't mean it never happens). I have a gay male friend and a gay female friend and both had no reservations about telling others. But "gay" marriage has been legal since 2001 so I guess it's less of a big deal to accept other sexualities and ge...... 2 reply

Being gay is looked down at and the term faggot(peder in croatian ) is still the main cuss word used to tease boys especially feminine guys... It' s like everyone belives in stereotypes and won't look beyond...

My country is... I don't know how to say it but they don't allow it in the law but they doesn't really care. My country people will be the problem because they are sick. Thy are so judging. In Denmark ppl are very tolerant. Doesn't matter what your preference is or anything, it's your choice. The christian church, which is the main religion, doesn't have any influence on the matter, well the churches I've been to have never had any bad thing to say about ppl from the LGBT+ community anyway. I live in Canada and same-sex marriage was completely legalised back in 2005. So if I had to talk from the perspective of what I see, people are pretty accepting when it comes to LGBT. At least when it comes to the newer generation, they are definitely more open about it. Even though I'm not part of the LGBT community, it sometimes surprises me how...... reply
