To the Queer people
To every queer people out there,
> Have you ever told your parents or anyone around you that you're gay or lesbian or bi? If yes how did they react about it?
> Have you ever told about the people around you like your family member and friends that you read yaoi? Especially if you're a muslim or majority of people around you are conservative.
I am really curious cause as a muslim who live on a muslim majority country,I'd never be able to tell anyone around me that i read yaoi or that i am bisexual.
I've never told relatives or my mom I'm Bi but not really cuz their against it or are religious, Idk i really haven't found the right time to say it. Although if someone asks me what my sexuality is, I won't hesitate to say I'm bi. Actually I'm very open to it with my friends. Id say I'm lucky to have grown up around ppl who aren't rlly judgementa...... reply
1. Not straight out, no, but at this point in my life my closest family have an inkling that I am not “normal”. So they don’t have a word for it, but know I’m not interested in romance. (I’m lithromantic).

- Parents not really, they're not important enough to know about that but everyone else I'm basically open to it if they ask if I’m queer.
- Im chill reading any genre and talking about it to anyone, it’s up to them if they dislike or not. If they don't i wont hold it against them, not everyone is into romance and the things I’m into unless...... reply
coming from someone that is also muslim & bisexual & reads yaoi/yuri i really cant tell anyone about being bi although my younger sister does know i read yaoi which she does find weird but she really doesn't press me about it but it might be because she also reads her fair share of romance manhwas on this site lol reply
I was also born into a muslim family and a muslim majority country haha. Im asexual/ demiaroace but im crazy about fictional character (yes i goon to them too) and no, i have never told anyone about my sexuality to anyone and don't ever plan to until i die.
