The only thing that's really changed is I've become more open to reading tragedy and character death I suppose...the younger me would have thrown away anything the moment I sensed a likeable character's boutta be offed. But now, I think I'm more comfortable with themes of grief and loss after experiencing some myself as I've grown up. So yeah, tha...... reply
It's kind of the same I'm ngl, I read literally anything as long as it interests me.
In anime I was watching, miss kobayashi's dragon maid, re:zero, saiki k., and tbhk in the same period.
Then I got stupidly into shounen, that being one piece and blue exorcist (although my first shounen was naruto, I never got into it)

It really hasn't changed a single bit over the years. I will read BL in comic form, but strictly prefer non-romantic fiction in dramas. Political, psychological, mystery etc are still my go to dramas genres.

I used to read so much BL and a few popular shonen or seinen like Naruto, OP, Bleach, KnY. But I've almost stopped reading BL now and just waiting those I've already started to finish. Now I'm more into straight and soft like Daytime Star, Light and Shadow. Still, I don't really like tragedy and dark themes. I need to liven up at least in here. reply

I'm still such a sucker for romance (straight ofc) but I became more picky for plots/storylines since I used to read lots of cliché and I've gotten sick of it to the point my taste of diff genre keep expanding LMAO.
