Just because the story has a healthy couple, doesn't make it immediately good AND I'M NOT SAYING IT'S BAD EITHER, DON'T JUMP ME I'm js tired of SOME ppl, bc every time a person gives actual criticism abt a story, they js go on their way and say "oh, stfu you just find it boring and you didn't like it bc you don't appreciate healthy relationships" PPL, I'M ALL FOR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, "OUR SUNNY DAYS" IN ON MY TOP 5 MANHWAS, BUT I'M SORRY, YOUR "PEAK" STORY IS BORINGGGGGGGGGG, it feels like eating soggy old cardboard!!!! That's how boring and plain it is!!! I love me some fluff and even slice of life stories, BUT YOU GOTTA MAKE IT INTERESTING TOO It's like when ppl don't like complex characters, and there goes their #1 dickrider protector to say dumb shit like "Oh, you just don't understand him at all, he's so complex, yall js don't get it!!!!!!" And it's like, no, I actually do get it, I JUST STILL FUCKING HATE HIM
Spitting facts here, ngl. Healthy couples can be portrayed well and interestingly, or rather bland and stale, just like complex characters or even dark themes and shitty characters can be presented well or shitty. Lowkey I dropped Our Sunny Days ages ago cuz I found it boring It's not bad and I'll never claim to hate it or even slightly dislike it, I just wasn't that into their relationship. I love healthy, simple & cute romances that don't have much of a plot to them, but I need to be REALLY into the couples dynamic to actually stick with it long term. Like...... reply

Real, story’s with healthy couples can be just as uninteresting as story’s with unhealthy couples. People these days just don’t produce any interesting story’s with any real substance, so no matter the dynamic between the two mc’s, it just turns out bleh and boring. a shit ton of josei are like this. the first few chapters were cute but this shit is 80 chapters and I’m already snoring on the fifteenth. they rely heavily on cuteness and forget that personality needs to exist and we need to progress the story.
