How to get a girlfriend

I'm talking to this woman since July and I think things are going well, but I don't know if she likes me the same way ( I'm lesbian), it's even worse since she is living in Europe while I live in South America (she comes here every vacation). I think that my last relationship broke my self steem, my ex didn't let me enjoy being myself and being confident, that's why I don't know how to ask this woman about her feelings for me...
