Just wondering

Does anybody else get bored of a bl/gl or any romance in general once the mcs get together. Like I feel the only reason story’s are interesting are bcs the tension between the two. This heavily applies to enemies to lovers, it’s just boring once they get together idk. There’s a few I’ll still read but that’s only six or seven of them UGHHH idk I just can’t.

No i actually hate when the story ends when they get together SPECIALLY enemies to lovers i long for 3 seasons of slowburn enemies to lovers followed by 25ch sidestories of them being domestic lovers (there arent any) 1 reply

Depends how many chapters are left before the proper ending. If they're going for another season or 15+ chapters that's often when they give up on character development and start wasting the reader's time with cheap tricks to create artificial tension. I'm talking memory loss, miscommunication, bringing back an ex, anything to make them drift apart...... 1 reply

I actually used to feel like this when going through my straight anime rom-coms phase, but then I just found out I hate straight people. I actually started liking seeing the couple be together once I started reading gay stories. I love seeing them be cute and seeing how far they've come. And becoming a couple doesn't mean their story is necessarily...... reply

My favorite types are the ones where you have the cold/arrogant/psychopathic one falling in love for the first time, but also the other half has to have personality, so to me those romances are never sappy. I lose interest in romances when the characters turn stupid because of love or were stupid to begin with. I have little tolerance for those typ...... reply
