How does one get genuine and actual friends?
I think im the problem here, so im genuinely asking how do you keep being friends with your friends. I tried making friends in highschool but we grew apart and we really don't like talking much to each other because I wasn't as talkative back then. Online people just keep ghosting you even though I thought y'all wanted to be friends, am I boring bc I don't do cool stuff ಥ_ಥ, especially on discord, like whaaa... I try to follow the convo and talk but they just straight up ignore newbies and have their own little social bubble. Then in college, my supposed "friends" only talk to me when they need something from me. Is it wrong to be overly talkative? It that the problem? Should I be more reserved and quiet? Bruh Idk anymore, im just going to stop tryin and just start acting like im chatting with people in my notes app.
I dont think there is a set way to get friends lol. Online friends suck ass and never really work for me either. The way I met my best friend was at a random cheap pottery class we both happen to go to. I met my boyfriend at work lmao. It's just about finding the right people. reply
Like someone said there isn't just a set way to have friends, honestly you can be quiet or wtv and you'll still find friends. Let them find you... I guess? Just talk and stuff that's it and you can recheck with ur hs friends. I'm sure they wouldn't mind getting a dm from you. Like catch up! reply
All i can say is- dont try to force a convo twin, thats the worst thing u could do. See how the rhythm naturally goes. If its awkward and u feel u NEED to say something, that person aint gon be the real friend u r looking for reply
Bumping because did i write this ??? , idk if it’s from my dignosis or what but literally I love talking, I can talk for hours people will have to shut me up and I feel so bad because I feel like I’m so annoying sometimes and my friends are too nice to say anything…idk? Im actually pretty self conscious about being overly talkative and try to...... reply
