TO ONE WHO OWN A CAT PLS HELP
Okay my cat has been missing for 2 days now, he's never gone this missing long before. He usually doesn't stray far from his home and i would find him by clapping. He has a collar but im so scared he might have gone stuck onto something. I don't usually let him out but he's a cat, he goes to high places and sneaks out. I didn't really mind cus he'd often stay in the roof of my house or my neighbours. I called him 2 days ago, no response and i thought oh it's night he must be somewhere sleeping. Hoping he'd come home tomorrow but none! I asked my neighbours if they saw him but they said no. So im here freaking out where is he, do i post missing pictures? Or do i wait another day to confirm? Its been 1 and half day by now he's missing. It rained quite heavy yesterday and he still didn't come home.
Yes you should report him as missing ASAP, it's never too soon! If he has a litterbox, try placing it outside. Sometimes the smell can help them find their way home. Cats are most active at dawn and dusk, try focusing your search efforts during those times.

if he really hasn't gone for that long with the rain, he's either nearby sheltering, or lost. i definitely suggest putting some stuff online!! the earlier it is the easier it'll be to find him!! i hope you do! 1 reply
post a missing flyer on facebook and in local fb groups. (with reward)
report it to your barangay and ask if they can post the cat on their fb page if possible. also check nearby compounds.

One of my cats was missing in December for almost a week and I was completely distraught. I hope you find him soon. Google this, but afaik put his litter box outside, put a box with your clothes outside, go around with food every couple hours looking, talk to ur local shelter about renting a humane trap reply
i'm so sorry, this is a super scary and sad situation to be in :( my cat has gone missing before too, although never for that long, but what i've tried in the past is walking around my neighborhood and the surrounding area calling his name and shaking a bag of treats (he recognizes the sound). i have also put up posters in the past. if your cat has...... reply
I am in the similar situation right now. Actually I should say it's worse . My male cat has been missing for 7 days now . He used to go missing for 2 days but always came home. Still not at home and its official 2 days now, i last saw him at my rooftop playing with the kittens. He was also fed okay that day. I didnt think he'd go missing... I saw his other fellow male cats so it made me have hopes he may be nearby. However the place i want to search is a private neighbourhood. I can't go in easily 1 reply
