Maggots in my clothes

I found maggot in my clothes and most were dead but some of them where alive and Im to scared to put anything else on. I talked to my mom about it and she said they’re not maggots, just baby moths because we have in infestation of them and she found them in our bird’s food, but I just can’t it’s so nasty we need an exterminator. I had to throw out clothes because of those fucking moths Im so mad what if they got into MY food too…
