I have a lot of problems with omegaverse. Note that I've never read an omegaverse with a straight couple, nor could I even tell you if such a thing exists. Shoujo is super cringe though so I doubt I'd want to read it anyways.

Not a fan either. I have nothing against those who enjoy omegaverse 'cause who tf am I to police others on what they should like, but to me it's kind of a sexist genre since a/b/o is used as a biological and social caste system.

tbh same, there are very few stories that i liked.
But i almost can't find one fucking omegaverse story without rape or other harrassments.

Tbh I kinda think the same... Sometimes the story is a bit sad because the Omega is poor and can't do anything because of it, Like taking pills and the Alpha takes advantage of it. Like instead of um taking advantage of it, They should spend their money on medicine and give it like a normal person would do if you see anybody in danger or in help. C...... reply
I could go on and on about why I dislike omegaverse, but I'll spare you the gory details. Long story short:
1. I value the romantic and/or platonic aspect of a relationship above all else. Omegaverse is all about sex by default.
2. The sexual hierarchy is all kinds of ew.

Yes. The best omegaverse i've read is the ones that doesnt really revolve too much around omegaverse (sensei no sensei). That just proves how bad this concept is. Omegaverse is just an excuse to make males get pregnant and make "sexier" sex scenes (yknow, those cringy knotting and shit). I lowkey didn’t understand why people didn’t like omegaverse stories because the two I’ve read were good but I found some others that were just bad so I just think that majority of them are bad and you actually have to look hard for the good ones reply
I personally like it cause I have an impregnation/breeding fetish, so just the idea of an omegaverse gets me off more than other storytelling concepts would... BUT the stories that actually come out of it ARE shitty for the most part and writers don't do anything interesting with the concept at all; the only omegaverse plotline I genuinely enjoyed ...... 1 reply
