This website is not safe we’re next on the chopping block
As we all know, a prominent website in our community has been nuked. If you’ve been here for a while, you remember the great silencing from 2021 to 2024. Stuff like this happens because manga/manhua/manhwa (Yaoi and Yuri specifically) is becoming more mainstream, and we have commenters and especially influencers promoting these websites, lazily censoring them or even just straight-up saying it.
I never really used Bato like that, only on occasion for a certain genre I couldn’t find here. I started noticing a weeks ago. Some content was getting migrated over here. Mangago doesn’t always have unique translations, but it was stuff that 1000s of days old on that site so the signs were there. Not to mention the website, shutting down every three days.
We can hope and pray no one exposes his website, but if we’re being honest with ourselves, there’s always gonna be somebody trying to be a hero and telling people anyways, and we know the more popular unoriginal “influencers” of this community will regurgitate this website 1000 times till it’s the next one gone. if you have anything you’d actually like to save on this website, I’d start archiving it right now. Mangago has a special place in all of our hearts. From 12-18 I’ve basically spent all of my teen years on it. But I don’t think it’ll be with me to see my 20s

Here since before even 2018 and I don’t know where else to go. Also IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO SHUT THE EVER LIVING F UP about reading ILLEGALY MAY I ADD. Why is it so hard to be quiet and search for websites like I stumbled here ages ago.

It saddens me so much that soft piracy is getting taken down slowly especially when it's hard to have access to manga/manhwa in my country, I've been accessing mangago since 2020 and I don't really have anywhere else to go if this site gets taken down just because tiktok and twitter literally CAN'T SHUT UP OR GATEKEEP??????????? Some are stupid eno...... reply
