would you be friends with someone who has different views?
i’m curious bc i know this person who has completely different views than i do and they recently posted about how different political views doesn’t mean mean we still can’t be friends but their views in general (not just political but also on issues like racism etc.) are way too different to mine. i just wanted to know if it’s bad to drop friendships/relationships based on different views since i know everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and such
I'd like to have friends with different points of view honestly. I would very much like to be able to debate and discuss with these people to get their point of view and to learn from each other. 1 reply
It depends. Of course i wouldnt want to be friends with bad people. But i wouldnt just break off a friendship with someone that has different views from me. reply
I'm fine with being friends with anyone as long as they're not a bad person.
If they have different views about serious issues such as what has been happening in the world recently. I wouldn't really mind as long as they are being respectful and don't harm others, mentally or physically.
