Not bl/gl = bad writing??
**Sometimes** when I read a bad romance manga/manga on this site I see people blaming it on the characters being straight? Like saying stuff like "het slop" etc. I dont read BL or GL but does the characters sexuality influence the quality of the story? Thanks for reading
lowkey a lot of straight works just rely on their characters being female and male and having interactions (not even rlly well written ones or intimate ones) to get them in the romance genre

Well the terms yaoi and Yuri slop exist too so it's not really about it being straight but it's about it being badly written (usually misogynistic) stuff reply

there's so many good straight romances out there, and many good bl gl
bad writing depends on two things 1) the author and 2) the reader's interpretation of text reply
