would you be friends with someone who has different views?
i’m curious bc i know this person who has completely different views than i do and they recently posted about how different political views doesn’t mean mean we still can’t be friends but their views in general (not just political but also on issues like racism etc.) are way too different to mine. i just wanted to know if it’s bad to drop friendships/relationships based on different views since i know everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and such
Totally. If they are a good friend and fun to hang out with. I live in an area where most of the people have different political views than me, and a lot of my friends also have different political views than me.
If they're the kind of person who would cut you off or be rude to you, no matter how good of a friend you two are, solely because of you...... reply
