would you be friends with someone who has different views?
i’m curious bc i know this person who has completely different views than i do and they recently posted about how different political views doesn’t mean mean we still can’t be friends but their views in general (not just political but also on issues like racism etc.) are way too different to mine. i just wanted to know if it’s bad to drop friendships/relationships based on different views since i know everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and such
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether you think they are right or not, whether you agree with it or not. If you can't handle their opinions then don't stress yourself and leave them be. I am a very open person so I wouldn't stop being friends with someone just because we share different views especially if the person hasn't wronged me ...... reply
