Do you guys drop series if it hasn't been updated long enough?

I did this a lot and wondering if anyone did the same and dropped a series cus it wasn't updating faster

A story that goes on for over 5 years and still isn’t complete I drop. Its either milking the story for as long as they can or the story got axed and they don't know how to end it. reply
