Friendship advice
Me and my best friend have been together for 16 years. We’ve always been close and I’ve been with her through thick and thin. I just wanna know if anyone with a low eq can help with this question or even anyone who thinks they can grasp the situation My friend has a very low eq she doesn’t like to deal with emotions and she has a very logical way of thinking. (Not autistic)
Is it’s too much to ask of her to comfort me when I’m crying?
I asked her why and she said she doesn’t feel comfortable and doesn’t know what to do, and then goes on about how she just won’t ever do it so never expect it.
I think she has a hard time comforting someone since she hasn't experienced being comforted before. So when you asked that from her, maybe she felt like she doesn't know how to go about it. She cares for you yes, but is just awkward in showing it.
